Coffee Meet-Up
This week, our FBOA community gathered once again for one of our regular Coffee Meet-ups, this time at Palma Beach Club. What started as a morning coffee quickly turned into what these gatherings always become: conversations that last much longer than planned, new introductions, familiar faces catching up, and members exchanging ideas, opportunities, and experiences.
These mornings are one of the things that make FBOA special. They give international entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals in Croatia the chance to slow down for a moment, step away from their daily routines, and connect with people who understand the challenges and opportunities of building a business abroad.
Naturally, the conversation turned to some exciting developments for our community. One of the highlights was our new cooperation with RaST and Technology Park Split, opening new opportunities for our members, including access to the coworking facilities at Tech Park Split as part of our growing list of membership benefits. Partnerships like these are exactly what FBOA strives to build: meaningful collaborations that strengthen the international business community in Split and beyond.
We also talked about Innovate Split 2026, where FBOA is proud to be the Meetup Community Partner. This September, we'll be hosting the panel International Business in Croatia: Creating Local Impact, bringing together entrepreneurs and business leaders to discuss how international businesses contribute to innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth in Croatia.
As always, FBOA members also enjoy exclusive benefits for the conference, making it another great opportunity to learn, connect, and grow. But perhaps the best part of the morning wasn't the announcements. It was seeing conversations continue over a second coffee. New friendships forming. Business ideas being shared. Members helping one another with advice, introductions, and recommendations. Those moments remind us that a strong business community isn't built only through events, it's built through relationships.
