As the 2026 season comes to an end, FBOA members gathered at Palma Beach Club in Split on October 30 for an informal Coffee Meet-up to exchange experiences, discuss business challenges, and start looking ahead to 2027.
Unlike our regular meetings, this gathering had no presentations or fixed agenda. The idea was simple: bring local and international entrepreneurs together, catch up on what's happening in their businesses, and share information that could be useful to others.

For many businesses in Split-Dalmatia, the end of the tourist season is an opportunity to review the past few months and consider what comes next.
Our Coffee Meet-up provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities of running a business in Croatia, from seasonal operations and changing market conditions to upcoming regulations and preparations for the following year.
These informal conversations are an important part of FBOA's activities. Members bring different professional backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, making it possible to approach common challenges from different angles.
Sharing Knowledge and Connections
One of the main purposes of FBOA is to make relevant information and professional connections more accessible to the local business community.
Sometimes that means sharing an experience with a particular administrative process, recommending a professional service, discussing a regulatory change, or introducing someone to a potential collaborator.
Our Coffee Meet-ups create space for these exchanges without a formal agenda, allowing participants to raise questions, discuss their projects, and learn from one another.
