FBOA Business Breakfast at Brasserie on 7

This month, our FBOA Business Breakfast took place at Brasserie on 7, a long-standing member of our association and one of the most established spots on Split’s waterfront. Their team welcomed us with a relaxed setting that made it easy for members to talk openly, exchange ideas, and get to know each other better.

We were joined by Dana Jurman Jakus from Razvojna agencija Split – RaST, who offered an inside look at the city’s current support programs for entrepreneurs, upcoming initiatives, and opportunities for collaboration. Dana also shared updates on Tehnološki park Split, the largest technology park in Croatia, and how it is evolving into an important space for startups, tech companies, and innovation-driven projects.

The meeting itself was intentionally informal, a chance for members to discuss what they’re working on, the challenges they’re navigating, and how the local business landscape is shifting. Conversations ranged from practical day-to-day experiences to broader questions about growth, investment, and opportunities in Split and the region.

Occasions like this breakfast remind us why these gatherings matter: they create room for honest conversations, useful connections, and a clearer picture of how we can support one another as foreign business owners building our lives and companies here.
